How aware are you?

One of the things that I think sets me apart from most people in my surroundings is my awareness. I don't only think, I also think a lot about my thoughts. I know that my thoughts lead to actions which in turn will create my results.

I know - however hard the truth might be - that right now I am where I am because I choose to be here. If I wanted to already have reached my dream/goal I could have done that by working harder (and watching less Netflix in the evenings etc). But it's a process, isn't it? Work and goal achieving are not the only areas of our lives either. It's a balancing act. Besides work you have several other areas of your life to take
 into account; family, health, religion/spirituality...

All I know is that at the end of the day it all boils down to me. If I grow and expand my awareness my results will grow with me. The idea of a goal is to make you grow into the person that is worthy of the goal.

If you want to dive deeper into this subject I highly recommend Neville Goddard's book
The Power of Awareness.

Words matter

I'm fascinated by words. Their etymology and how they translate between different languages. In this post I'm writing about awareness. Could it be that it's a word comprised of two words? 'A' and 'Were'? Where were is the Old English word for 'man' (as in werewolf).

Being self-aware is what sets us apart from the animal kingdom.
Being aware - being a man - Homo sapiens sapiens (Human who knows that he knows).

Food for thought..
